Celeni Filpo raised in the Dominican Republic, Filpo moved to the U.S. at twelve. Inspired by her childhood challenges, she discovered her passion for art a year later. Her mother, a single parent, greatly influenced Filpo’s artistic vision, showcasing strength and initiative reflected in her craftsmanship.

Filpo's expressionist and figurative style uses acrylic on canvas, celebrating women’s femininity and forms.

She views them as masterpieces essential to existence, expressing devotion in her work. Now, Filpo continues her artistic journey while residing in Long Island, New York.
